Launch Subsidy Programs Purchase Biomass Boilers
Chisinau, April 15, 2013 – More than 600 families will be able to buy modern biomass boilers, some of the expenses being reimbursed from European funds. Government, namely the Energy Efficiency Agency, with the support of the EU-UNDP Project „Energy and Biomass” today launched a program granting favorable terms of biomass boilers for households. CJSC „Darnic Gaz” was accredited under this program as eligible for the marketing company of the biomass boilers.
By launching this program, modern biomass technologies become more affordable. Households in villages and small towns can buy boiler burning pellets, briquettes or mixed boilers, 30% of the costs being reimbursed from European funds.
Program grant favorable terms of biomass boilers for households was launched in Energy and Biomass Project, funded by the European Union and co-financed, implemented by the United Nations Development Program.
The total budget of the program is Euro 640,000. The maximum amount reimbursed from the funds of the program is EUR 1,000 per boiler installed.
